Welch eine Tragik!! Am 18.10.201 h\u00f6rte ich auf der 6300 KHZ via Euro Relay Radio Chochiguaz<\/strong> aus S\u00fcdamerika. Nach kurzer Zeit kam die volldetaillierte QSL f\u00fcr meinen RR aus S\u00fcdamerika zur\u00fcck.<\/div>\n

Aber was f\u00fcr ein Begleitschreiben!!! Sein guter Freund und Miststreiter Quri Chakana der die Station Radio Cochiguaz<\/strong> jetzt betreut, „verwaltet“ oder managt, teilte mir mit dass OP Cachito<\/strong> schon vor 4\u00a0 Jahren, Annno 2010, \u00e4u\u00dferst „spektakul\u00e4r“ und abrupt verstorben ist – mit gerade einmal 50 Jahren!<\/div>\n

Auf einem DX Camp erlitt er einen t\u00f6dlichen Herzinfarkt. Leider erfuhren wir erst jetzt von dieser Trag\u00f6die. Nichts desto trotz gilt unser ganzes Mitgef\u00fchl und tiefempfundene Anteilnahme seiner Familie, seinen Freunden und Bekannten. Danke auch noch einmal von mir pers\u00f6nlich an Cachito<\/strong> der zahlreiche Dr.Tim Programme auf seinem Kontinent ausstrahlte.<\/div>\n

Thank you for your report and I enclose a eQSL card. \u00a0I can tell you that Cachito<\/strong> died abruptly when he was attending in a DX-camp when his heart didn’t want to work anymore….This was a vary shock for us all. \u00a0This is the reason for the long inactivity of our station. Now some of us involved with the station want to keep it back to the airwaves in the memory of Cachito. He was a great guy! \u00a0And we still miss him very much. It’s 4 years now since Cachito died, thats mean in 2010. He had just passed 50 years of life, to young to die.<\/div>\n

As you write in your report the transmissions you heard was via the Pira\u00f1a transmitter in Europe. Transmitter power was 100 watts carrier, but according to Jorge, conditions weren’t very good this weekend. We also hope to get back on air here from Souht America. Maybe via our own transmitter or via radio Pira\u00f1as Souht America’s transmitter plant.<\/div>\n
